Mount your camel and begin the journey to the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. The landscape changes with every step, the dunes growing ever higher.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, desert nights can be very cold, especially in winter (October-March) when temperatures drop below 5°C. We provide warm blankets and sleeping bags. In summer (June-August) nights are milder, around 20-25°C.
We recommend: warm clothing for the night (even in summer), comfortable shoes for walking on the dunes, sunscreen and sunglasses for the day, a headlamp, camera and charged batteries. We provide everything needed for sleeping.
Yes, the camp has clean toilets. Hot showers are available at luxury camps. Standard camps have toilets with cold water. Specify your preferences when booking.
Absolutely! The experience is perfect for families. Children love the camels, dunes and night under the stars. We recommend this experience for children aged 4 and above.
Merzouga is about 550 km from Marrakech and 350 km from Fes. You can get there by car, bus or with one of our private tours that include the desert night. We also organise transfers from any city in Morocco.
The best period is September to November and March to May, when temperatures are pleasant both day and night. Summer is very hot during the day but nights are beautiful. Winter is cold but the starry sky is spectacular.
